Our client was stopped for speeding well in excess of the posted speed limit by the Georgia State Patrol. After speaking with the client, the officer smelled marijuana. As a result of that conversation, our client was arrested DUI – Marijuana, Driving While License Suspended, and Speeding. We ultimately obtained a full dismissal of all charges pending against our client based upon a violation of our client’s constitutional right to a speedy trial.
